On December 2, your donation can support essential upgrades at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, Robert Nimi Nikkei Home, and New Sakura-so—keeping these community spaces strong and vibrant for years to come:
Critical infrastructure that focuses on the long-term health, safety, and resilience, such as roof and HVAC replacements.
Creating more welcoming spaces by enhancing accessibility, comfort, and belonging. This includes projects like updating Nikkei Centre’s lobby space, and a new kitchen and specialized spa tub at Nimi Nikkei Home.
Transforming spaces that honour tradition, inspire connection, and enrich community life. This includes projects like transforming Nikkei Centre’s tatami room into an authentic Chashitsu tea room, and the creation of the new Kushiro Lane garden along the pathway by Nimi Nikkei Home.
