Give Directly to the Nikkei Next Building Improvement Campaign

The Nikkei Next Building Improvement Campaign is a community-driven initiative dedicated to renewing and enhancing the spaces that bring people together at Nikkei Place—home to the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre and seniors residences, Robert Nimi Nikkei Home and New Sakura-so.

Having stood strong for 25 years, we are now preparing Nikkei Place to better serve the community for many decades ahead. From essential infrastructure repairs that protect our buildings, to new cultural spaces like the chashitsu tea room that nurture tradition and connection.

Why Your Gift Matters

Whether you’ve visited Nikkei Place for a festival, explored our museum, or are just discovering us for the first time, your support helps keep this community hub thriving. Our facilities are where children and adults alike learn about Japanese Canadian history and culture, families gather, and seniors find community and comfort.

By giving directly to the Nikkei Next Building Improvement Campaign, you’re helping to:

  • Create warm, accessible, and inviting spaces that welcome everyone.

  • Ensure safety and sustainability through essential building repairs and upgrades.

  • Support seniors’ well-being at Robert Nimi Nikkei Home and New Sakura-so with enhanced comfort and care.

  • Preserve a cultural legacy that continues to inspire and connect people from all walks of life.

Your contribution strengthens a community space that belongs to everyone—a place that brings stories to life, fosters connection, and builds understanding for generations to come.
