Nikkei Next 50/50 Raffle Raises $12,440 at Nikkei Matsuri 2025!

Burnaby came alive over the Labour Day weekend as Nikkei Matsuri 2025 transformed Nikkei Place into a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, food, music, and community spirit. The two-day festival was packed with unforgettable moments that brought thousands of people together.

One of the weekend’s biggest highlights was the Nikkei Next 50/50 Raffle, which raised an incredible $12,440! Half of the proceeds support building improvements at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre and Nikkei Place seniors residences through the Nikkei Next Campaign, while the other half went home with one very lucky winner—walking away with a $6,220 prize!
